Take the Journey
"It is about the journey, not the destination.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson.
This quote inspired the essence of the fictional AIGA Exhibit "Take the Journey": at AIGA 100 Exhibit. This exhibits main focus will be looking at the journey through these 100 years and noticing it’s the journey we go through. What we experience and what we gain from those experiences while headed towards the destination. To travel is better than to arrive. Well, because it’s actually what happens along the way….that counts. This also relates to all the work that goes into a design and thinking about the design process. This exhibit will be looking through the past 100 years from where we came from to where we are today.
The plan to communicate this idea visually will be mixing black and white images with color images. With also exploring collaging images/designs together to create a road. The images are in triangles which creates the delta symbol meaning to change. All the grayscale images form together to create the 100.
